Psychologist, MSc Clinical Psychology

My name is Maria Giampani and I am a psychologist with an MSc in Clinical Psychology. My research focused on the relationship between attachment style, postpartum anxiety and female sexual functioning during the postpartum period.

I have worked at the European Network of Women of Greece, supporting the SOS helpline and counselling women survivors of domestic and other violence. In recent years I practise privately and collaborate with centres offering psychotherapy to adults and adolescents.

I have a particular interest in perinatal psychology, supporting women and couples from pregnancy through the postpartum period — with prevention, empowerment and a safe space for open expression.
